VIDEOGAMES INFERNO (The Director's Cut)

This is the definitive, expanded Full XperienceVision of VIDEOGAMES INFERNO

While the version previously exhibited at ARCADE CLUB was a condensed 21-minute Speedy Race ad Inferos; this Director’s Cut nearly doubles the duration (41:25), offering a deeper MINDFUCK into the Abyss of digital Hyperreality and haunted simulation, through forbidden levels of extreme Gore and Cyber Horror VideoGames.

Check out short POV of the version we played in ARCADE CLUB:

This Director's Cut is an alternative monolithic "cut-up" montage visual primarily constructed from the reimagined technological paranoid landscapes and dark Interzones of TOO COOL VIDEOGAMES™ 3 and TOO COOL VIDEOGAMES™ 4: Diavolo Grosso Modo / woven together into a NeW Pyschotronic Xcessive and Ultraviolent Cyberpunk Horror HELL Non-Film.

VIDEOGAMES INFERNO is an audiovisual piece of Video Art and futuristic horror, forming an immersive and liminal experience of dystopian terror and digital collage that operates as a hypnotic cyber-shamanic ritual. The project occupies the unstable frontier between experimental cinema, video art, digital culture, and the music video. VIDEOGAMES INFERNO proposes a descent into a kind of twilight Interzone—a virtual Hell where deranged videogames, meme culture, glitch aesthetics, and VHS collide on screen, forming an ironic commentary on contemporary hyperreality.

The program combines explicit Ultraviolence, Sex, Drugs, Satanism & Cyberpunk. Absurd Umor, references to trash and horror cinema, and occult symbolism are all filtered through a deliberately camp, Z-movie aesthetic. There is no moral or redemption: the spectator is handed the joystick and thrown into chaos. An experience designed to destabilize, reprogram, and plunge the viewer into a cybernetic Pandemonium where the image never fully settles. Its influences and borrowings are explicit and reappropriated: the esoteric cinema of Kenneth Anger, the New Flesh of David Cronenberg, the paranoid visions of Philip K. Dick, the cut-up and visionary heresy of William S. Burroughs, the technological fetishism of J. G. Ballard, and the biomechanical horror of H. R. Giger.

Relentless exploration of the GAME OVER screen of so called Reality™
