La Escalera de Jacob

ALAN SMITHEE es un pseudónimo oficial utilizado por directores de cine que desean desvincularse de un proyecto. Fue acuñado en 1968 y utilizado hasta que se suspendió formalmente en 2000. Entre las películas atribuidas a Alan Smithee, encontramos “DUNE” (1984), “House III” (1989), “The Birds II” (1994), “Hellraiser IV: Bloodline” (1996) o “An Alan Smithee Film: Burn Hollywood Burn” (1997).
Ahora, el alias Alan Smithee oculta los últimos films de Erik Hurtado (detrás de proyectos como Afrika Pseudobruitismus o Meme Vivaldi y otros), un guiño explícito y tributo al error, al cine basura y la Serie Z, con el uso y manipulación de found footage de muy diversa procedencia: sectas New Age, viejos documentales Cyberpunk, GIFs o Memes.
El próximo viernes 10 de octubre en LA RESISTENCIA (Almería) se ofrecerá una proyección de algunos de sus últimos videoclips generados con AI y cortometrajes.

Melancolía Planetaria
